Past, Present & Future

My wife Nimisha and I welcomed our first child, Amelia, to our lives on December 1, 2015. We're elated and exhausted and having a ball as newly-minted parents. Our future mathematician-science nerd can't wait for her first day of kindergarten in 2020!

I've taught Algebra I, Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry, IB Math Studies SL, OneGoal & Survey Literature at Prosser Career Academy, a Chicago Public High School, for the past 10 years. My most rewarding professional development experiences include National Board Certification, OneGoal & the Michigan State-Wipro STEM Fellowship. I am passionate about teaching students how to become better problem solvers - and people - and enjoy tackling challenging problems myself.

Amelia and I share a moment before a meltdown! She's lots of fun (and work) and rolled over for the first time last week.

Nimisha and I met in Chicago in 2009 and were married in 2013. We love traveling - Machu Picchu, Peru, South Africa & Thailand are our favorite places to visit - and relaxing at home together with our new little nugget.

The three years of ushering 23 OneGoal students into college and the military is the most important work I've done in the classroom. So proud of these young men and women!
